Dear Client,
We welcome this opportunity to work with you as a new client. Over the past 11 years, Mocha Media has been an instrumental part of our clients teams by providing strategic Management, Development, Production, and IT Consulting Services to clients all over the world. Working with new clients, however, is like making new friends; we need to get to know each other. Relationship building is a big part of our business, and we have developed a simple 3 step process that has worked for us for the past 11 years: Hello, Cool, and Gigging.
Hello - The first step in our process is called “Hello,” We’d like to learn about you and your company, and we’d like you to learn more about us; who we are, and what we’re about. I am sure you already guessed what kind of coffee we like. Upon request, we're glad to send you a work document called the Mocha Media Equivalence Brief. This document outlines our business model, mission, and culture; concepts that are important in understanding who we are and what we’re about. We know that successful business relationships are ones where both companies share equivalent cultures, missions, visions, strive, and drive. Winston Churchill said it best, “If we are together nothing is impossible. If we are divided all will fail.”
Cool - If we get past “Hello,” I’d like you to review our GSLA agreement. GSLA stands for General Service Level Agreement. This document is our “master” service contract. It’s designed to lay out our policies and procedures in terms of doing business. We share this with you for your approval and signature before we send any proposals. The reason for taking this step is to move from talking to doing. Mocha Media is all about “The Do.”
Spending energy on drafting proposals is not productive for you or us if you are not able to engage us in business. Signing our GSLA does not obligate you to hire us exclusively, nor does it obligate you to anything until we draft a SOWA (Statement of Work Agreement) which will outline the tenants of a specific engagement. Please note, billable time must be pre-approved. Once you sign our GSLA, we’re cool.
Gigging - We got past Hello, and now we’re cool so what’s next? We’ll, you want us to help you solve a problem, build a website, or provide some services....now we can sit down and talk about youur projects, and get on with the gig.
I am glad to answer any questions regarding our work methodology at any time.
When you are ready to set up your account with Mocha Media, please request a digital copy from our office by calling us at +1 (866) 672-3813.
Setting up an account with Mocha Media does not mean that we are going to start billing you. We will need to establish services, and rates per a “SOWA” and a service engagement. Once we agree to our scope of work, we may bill for services. However, we do require that all clients sign our GSLA as a prerequisite of doing business. This establishes your acknowledgement our of terms of service, and doesn’t become an issue for us later on. If you choose to not use our services, even after you sign our GSLA we will cancel our service contract at no charge to you.
We look forward to building our IT & New Media relationship with you, and to earn your business.
